bb dakota jacket here / project 615 tee here / free people shorts similar here / matisse booties here
Even though this jacket's GOT to come off by lunch... I'm digging these September AM temps. Wearing shorts + long sleeves is one of my favorite looks, and you only get to do it about 3 weeks out of the year. These shorts were actually free people boyfriend jeans that I ended up slicing into cutoffs, and I love. them. I can never seem to find shorts I like the fit of so sometimes you just gotta improvise.

wonderland honolulu crop top here / urban outfitters flannel here / free people boots here / one teaspoon shorts here
This Wonderland Honolulu cropped tank is the perfect little number to add interest to a regular cotton tank. The slit makes for a cool wrapped look around your body. I'm also pumped to wear it under overalls and big slouchy sweaters when it gets cooler.. AHHH!

free people coat here / converse here / brandy melville shorts here / free people sunnies here / free people tank here
When I first saw this coat I was like... eh, it's alright. Then I thought about it and how many awesome ways to wear it. Then, I put it on, and was sold. It's amazing. It looks cool so many ways + is such a great cold weather staple. With all these high temps over the last month, I'm ready for smores & a good coat.

So this tunic is sort of awesome. It's long enough to look (almost?) like a dress.. but I have black cutoffs on underneath (they're really just for coverage- don't want this baby flying up on a windy day if you know what I mean.) But it would also look rad with destroyed skinnies + ankle boots in the fall or even dress up with tights, etc. You catch my drift.

james michelle necklace here / minnetonka boots here / one teaspoon shorts here / free people sweater here
Fall's the best. I always start channeling my inner Fall [way] prematurely and always end up sweating. and. regretting. But it's worth it. I know I'll be getting lots of use this season out of this FP sweater.. anything with wool makes me want to claw out of my skin, so it's awesome that this bad-boy is 100% cotton.

rue stiic tee here / free people flares here / brandy melville bag similar here / free people hat here
These flares are so stretchy and comfortable I could just melt into a little ball and go to sleep. But seriously. They come in s i x different washes + are also available in short, regular, and long length! I'm typically not a flare-person, but these won me over. This striped rue stiic tee was a win for me also. It's one of my all time favorite basics.
